From what i know safra member or public actually can book a booth for a price range of only less then $25-$55 max for a day or 2.How much was the rental they charge you?i think they charge a much higher rental.Unless Safra got special event or free gifts for members if not,is quiet & sun slightly better crowd then sat. I been to a school bazaar of similar problem like yours & we got almost all the vedors of around 20 people to sign a petition to ask for full or partial refund.Cos even the space was the same but the REntal charges to different vendors are all DIFFERent price.Endup that fellow just totally went missing without any news & dont even answer his hp! ![]() To Lodge a complaint to whoever, black&white is very important & what they stated inside of what you sign also affects whether your complaint is it applicable.Hope you get news from them soon,if not just no choice take it as a learning lesson & dont book from them in the future.

![]() hi all
i was at safra mt faber aso..selling kidswear..i was there in end april to..maybe just my 2 cents worth of comments below after been there twice: 1) crowd - more of safra members n maybe some tt stay nearby. not many walk in public. for end april, my sales was pretty slow though still able to cover rental. But last weekend was ok. i guess its aso due to school holiday started n more families were there enjoying the weekends. 2) organizer publicity - tis is impt. for the april, the organizer didnt do much publicity n crowd was super slow lor. the vendors were basically all sitting ard chit chating. at least last weekend, i saw more crowd walking past. 3) products - i tink product is very impt...i noe some vendors make zero sales on both days in april, can see tt their products not appealing to the crowd there..partly aso not much crowd lah. I was doing some kidswear n adult apparels in april, crowd is soso n slow. last weekend was solely on kidswear, so sales was much better. 4) I tink the organizer did some effort on the publicity, but then due to the location n accessibility, i guess perhaps only safra members n those nearby will come cos not central area lor. Lastly, I did my own publicity to my own customer thru mailing list. some of them came down to support me n bght quite a lot of stuff. so mayb can always do like wise for any bazzar tt we go. above is just my own comments n experiences..hope no offence to anyone ![]() |

![]() Hi Efashionstore
The main reason we try new events in new locations is to generate customer awareness of our products.. to get new customers. If at this event you make good on your sales due to your own return customers then I say this event is BAD and not worth paying for! |

![]() hi petchow
most of my customers are not thru my own customer mailing list. I merely said i try to do tt to get some of my customers to come down n support me, hoping to get more publicity n generate more revenue. I do mainly online, so i guess cld be a good chance for them to come down n meet n see my products too. so far, i noe less than 5 came down. only 1 bght quite a number of items from me n apple. the rest came n maybe 1 pc or none. I shld say tt most customers are mainly from the crowd itself. of cos i agree with you tt if all are my own customers, then their marketing is bad. i am not trying to defend the organiser or so. as mentioned above, just my 2 cents worth of thoughts n experience being there twice n with 2 different organisers. hi dollydeer the organiser did told me about flyers distribution. frankly, i didnt ask my customers how they get to know about tis bazzar. after being there twice, tis is my own conclusion about the location n crowd. Only safra members n limited crowd n your products too play a part. if I were to try safra mt faber again, I will prob go when they have events or school holidays. maybe to share aso on the ECP big splash, i was there on 23 n 24 may as well doing kidswear. sales was gd too. but my friend who shared the booth with me, her sales was pretty bad n slow..she is doing korean tee n boxers. For that place, i tink many of us aso ve different views n thoughts on location, crowd, products n organisers too. seriously, i aso been to places with low sales or no sales...always very worried when i try a new location for bazzar ![]() |

![]() Hi efashionshop,
I was upset not because my sales was bad.. I am upset because I was drawn to the "Confirmed Crowd" advertisement... but the crowd turned out to be a big disappointment. If there is really a crowd and my sales was equally bad, I would have kept my mouth shut... Plus the organiser service is BAD. Not only did they MIA according to the agent for the event.. I requested for light to be switched on as my booth was pretty dim.. They ignored me~!! They could have told me Safra rejected my request and I would have been slightly appeased... I would treat this as misrepresentation & misleading information given in the effort to get vendors to rent the booth. On top of that.. very bad service... And you mentioned that you think that "you tink the organizer did some effort on the publicity" Did you do your own checks or did you just assume? 2 of the vendors that I have asked checked with their customers and they did not rec'd any flyers. What kind of sales can I make if there was only an average of 1 person per hour that walk past my booth?? |
