Condemn Whao!sale

I would like to share my bad experience with this online supplier who supply apparels. Pardon me for the tone and language, cuz I'm relly pissed off now.

I bought something this supplier a few weeks ago. Due to the last minute lack of stocks, the shipment was separated into two. I weighed both packages and it was 3kg in total. So I refused to pay for the additional 0.5kg which the supplier wants me to pay due to the separate shipment. But I refused because

1.it's the supplier fault for the stockouts and it's not stated on the website about such additional payment
2.he didn't inform me about it
3.He already promised to deliver it at the stipulated date.
4.I wasn't told of any additional charge when he said he will send the first batch to me first.

Also, if the shipment to singapore will take place anyway even if the first batch wasn't sent. Anyway, the local postage cost less than the shipment for that 0.5kg. So now, this whaosale wants to charge me 3.0kg based on the actual EMS rate which is USD55.30 in total. But based on the discounted rate EMS charges whaosale, it's only USD28. Their website stated estimated price. Pardon me, but this is definitely not estimated. This is cheating. In the first place, why should I pay for something which is not due to my fault and be slapped with a rate that is not true nor estimated nor they paid.

Anyway, more is to come.

1. There's always delays and sudden stockouts that the supplier/ agent will never inform me of until I ask.

2. Their website stated 5-7 working days to ship. But they suddenly say, it's 5-7 days to ship to singapore, need another 2-3 days to despatch. Plus another 3-4days for registered mail to reach, you do the calculation.

3. Their attitude sucks. When I first ordered from them, i thought it was 5-7working days to reach me. So i waited and waited. Because there's a delay with my payment transfer, I asked the person in charge several times and he said 1-2 weeks and asked me to tell my customers that. And yes, I explained to my customers about it (and being nice and understanding, they waited too). Then aha, the time is up, but still no parcel, so i went to chase after him. Then he said, he already told me it's 1-2 weeks, but he did promised me that my parcel will arrived at that date, he said he din promised me anything, and said I was the one who pay late (delay in internet banking), and keep chasing, never explain to customers and other customers can wait why can't I.

4. The shorts I ordered for myself, supposed to be L size, told me it's out of stock, okiez then, i changed to M. But when the pants comes, the M size shrinks! It's like a S or even possibly XS!

5. Some of the clothes' quality not very good.

6. More importantly, this supplier is untruthful and really bad attitude (very yaya)

I don't know how many of you actually order from whaosale. but i urge those looking for suppliers, DON't ORDER FROM THEM!

I had wanted to try ordering from them before cos the cost is qt low..but I have been qt wary of these online suppliers cos I dunno the quality & sizing of the products...(the irony of it all huh? cos I also operating an online shop...haha!)

So now I would rather spend a bit more, fly down to pick the goods I want instead of spending hundreds getting cheated, then stuck with goods I dunno wat to do with

ya, know about the causeway store too. just that they require a minimum order quantity.

But for you to fly there and pick the goods, wun your cost be way higher when you include the expense for the trip? and to cover the cost means the merchandise wud have to be priced at a very high pricing.

I used to travel too, but in the end, it din seem to justify...

Because i grew suspicious when I saw the similar layout. So I checked out the trustsg thingy for more details. And I saw the details of the owner, KOR WEE LOON REVEE. The very same person from whaosale. He's supposedly the singapore agent for whaosale, in other words the distributor.

I called him just now to confront him, he shirk all responsibility saying he's only incharge of depatching and billing is as what the supplier from china has communicate. As in he's supposed to be the middleman between us, informing me of any additional charges, billings and of course arrival and delay of shipment. But never once did he inform me anything. He said I didn't ask! Helloz, I mean you should disclose all your information to your customers, no? *black-hearted trader*

And before I can finish my sentence, he said, anything just email us and *KiaK* my phone. WTH, emails, think he will reply? Dream on.

Whaosale and SHOPLAH are local online shops run by the very same cheater kor revee. I heard from the other girl who got cheated that he said, go on and spread bad things about him, he has a strong customer base, won't get affected. Please prove him wrong, and DON't ORDER from him!

Ermm..ok what I normally do is for 1st or 1st few times..I will fly there (part holiday also hiak hiak) then get to see the place, feel their products, see samples..chit chat with the sales people...find out more how they function etc...then I will pick and choose...sometimes I get them to recommend also...then at least I also get to check out if they recommend me good stuff or are juz pushing those unsellable left overs to me...there are some like that one..I mean I don't blame them la...but since as a buyer I also have a choice to go to other suppliers lor hehe

After familiar with them..then next time re-order I dun need to go down liao... Actually I calculated before....incl air tix, shipping of goods back, cost of goods...the price is around the same as I order from those websites....slightly cheaper sometimes...maybe cos I got place to stay there la..I normally bunk with my friends there...hehe

I feel safer also...cos just in case there are those receive payment liao act blur..then how? Die lor...another country how to chase for goods? So I a bit kiasee..rather spend a bit more upfront...

thanks for posting about the reeve guy. cos i was about to call him to enquire more. anyway, do you all have any supplier contacts? i know it's kinda weird asking this since we are all buyers and somehow people treat this as a trade secret. but becos i am having difficulty finding suppliers locally. (don't intend to get it via overseas online website because it doesnt seem safe) and flying overseas don't really justify too. esp if i do not have any contacts with any supplier. so i am really in need so some help here, if there is a wholesale centre in sg or local supplier whereby i can approach to look at their stuff personally. i am also looking for manufactureres who can help to customise apparel (cheap and in low quantity). would greatly appreciate if you guys could help me. thanks alot.
