Good Bazaars VS Bad Bazaars
Hi all,
Anybody would like to share your experience? - where are the places that you expereince excellent sales where u will defintely go back again? - where are the places which you have tried and swear never to step in again? - and most importantly, what kind of products are u selling? |
Bad Bazaars-Scape Park

Re: Bad Bazaars-Scape Park
Is it really very difficult to make money in singapore? I see/hear like very easy for other people. When it comes to myself, things are more complicated than it seems. Yes, some bazaars do let me earn quite a far bit but some bazaars make you lose also. In the end, like back to square one...

Re: Good Bazaars VS Bad Bazaars
Hmm I agreed. What to do? Singapore is small. Small companies like us can't survive long.
Bible of Survival: 1) Expand network (Get good lobang) 2) Build community (Stomp places in gang and get good lobang) 3) Build Customer Base (For online, use google analystic) 4) Go for more retail meetings or any other forum meetings (Know more in the market) 5) Take notes of complaints against organiser. Blacklist them. Most importantly, take notes of their contact no, name, ARCA no, address and etc. 6) Never take up booth before you hear the voice. Ask to pay only half the rental untill recieve floor plan and details before paying full amt. 7) Take notes of complaints against locations. Never be dumb to go back there and get slaughtered. 8) Never be soft. You be soft, you get eaten. This is the world of reality. Anyone bully you, get back at the person. Get cheated, report police. Get scammed, report police. Everything also report police. Let police handle. Don't keep quiet and suffer. 9) Suggest that Admin post a list of banned Organiser and the reason why they are banned. Hence, people can take note. 10) Never go for any bazaar/flea which is above $50 unless you are confident of getting back the money. 11) Study more and ask around for advice before starting to get pushcart/bazaar/flea. Don't see people earn money, you think is easy and want to earn. There is no such thing as easy thing. People get successful through hardwork and not luck. 12) Doing business is never risky. Only doing business which you do not know is risky. Know your trade well. Be focus. Don't do a bit here and there. For e.g. sell baby clothes. Focus. Untill it is successful then you add in product assortment. Expanding your width and deepening your depth of product. 13) Be focus in everything you do. No easy way out. No short cut in business. Business is just like a boring routine. You check email, you advertise, you go for events and etc. As long as you are able to take the boring routine, you will be able to make it. 14) I heard people saying, I lazy to do selling myself. I lazy to check emails. I lazy to learn. Too much hassles. Too much stress. Too much this and there. Come on. Get alive! If you are lazy to do this and that, don't even start a business. Business is start from scrap. It is not start from craps! Hence, don't complain. You chose the path. Walk your path. Nobody forces you to set up business. 15) Have a namecard along. Invest. Not very expensive. Go to M'sia. Cheap cheap. Print it. Name card is meant to be given. Name card is not meant to be kept. So see who ever you meet, give them your name card. Tell them your line, your trade. 16) Be proud of your own products/business. If you don't, no 1 will be proud of you. Don't bother about how people look at you. This is none of their business. The one who is going to be SUCCESSFUL IS YOU! NOT THEM. So take negative remarks as motivation. Take positive remarks as compliment to do better. I hope all this do help. If anyone going to add on, please do so. Thank. Regards, Takeshi |
Re: Good Bazaars VS Bad Bazaars
so difficult to get good bazaars location, with reliable organizers and reasonable rental nowadays..
good bazaars = higher rental... even they registered company also can cheat..bazaar indulgence aso got ACRA rite? but they are doing the same old things n using the sme old tricks as LLevents used to do...cant make it in this industry if they cont like that. I tink they are not experienced enuf in handling business, complaints n having good business etiquette...they see ppl earn profitable $ as organizer, they also jump on the wagon but not knowing whats ahead of them. Then collect $, spent $ n end up no $ to refund. So, just drag n drag until ppl threaten police report..They are hoping ppl will forget abt it cos mayb nt big small. or hoping for those who are lazy to go thru small claims n just forget abt it. then at the end, they still earn $ mah. perhaps, they already noe n check out the consequences if ppl go thru small claims or make police report..so they also STEADY, not scared..??! this is the same old tricks tt they are using .. mayb nw they quiet down..perhaps another 2 mths ltr, another new coy will spring up again...first is LL, Bazaar Indulgence, whats next??? |
Re: Good Bazaars VS Bad Bazaars
Shouldnt you check the ACRA based on their paid up capital?
Give a miss for event company with $2 paid up capital. |
Re: Good Bazaars VS Bad Bazaars
The reason why the LL event was not scared because her husband is a policeman. Anyway, just follow bible of survival for time being. Lolx. I am coming out with more to help you guys out. Follow it, you won't lose out.
Btw, fancypocket, what is paid up capital? I don't remember that my company do that =X hahas... Regards, Takeshi |
