Hi I was one of the victims too. However, they have refunded me already.
The reason I posted this reply is because I have two more similar cases by other event organisers.
Firstly, Imperial Sarah Zhang last min cancelled the Hougang Hub bazaar which we have paid $1675 deposit two month ago. Even though they have refunded us two days after, I still have something to reveal to fellow vendors. From the very beginning, they have never secured any bazaar at hougang hub because the current organiser in charge of hougang hub CNY bazaar is my friend. They have secured this contract long time ago and there is no such thing as last min cancellation. Just think twice if they ask you to choose another alternative venue.
Secondly, another organiser named AKALAME, his company name is Youthbox. A few month back he claimed that he has one event at tampines mall @$80 for two days. I had registered and on the day itself, he told me I am the only tenant and there is no crowd....no point to go...he promised he will refund the full amount to me asap, but until now I nvr receive any refund. Then last year Dec, he posted one thread under letting go retail space saying he got 2 lots letting go at $300 per weekend at Far East Plaza Atrium. Lately people found that there is no such mentioned event on the dates he mentioned. Then he was barred from this forum.

AMK Police just called me with regards to my report.

They said Police is unable to do anything because this Organiser did
successfully held events before & that they did not mention they are not
refunding to us, only that they keep delaying.

So the Police officer incharge suggested that we could engage a lawyer to
file a suite against them or we file a claim at the Small Claim court.

Should we gather together & file?

police say so because I treat it as breach of contract, which is I mention before, this is criminal, not breach of contract.

the thing is police did not know the whole story of these two ladies, this is not the first time they cheat people refering to senior push forum user.

Nowadays join Bazaar has to be extra careful many bogus organiser come into forums to cheat money.
Anybody know this organiser Bazaar en route? They are holding a Bazaar in Far East plaza Atrium on 27th/28th Feb.Want to know this organiser trustworthy or not?Thought of joining.

It is probably not considered breach of contract if they scammed more than 1 person right?

I hope police will seriously look into this case after so many reports about them.

But I did mention to the officer who spoke to me on this that I am not the only victim, but there a few more & some I believed have already filed a report... Yet this is still what she told me...

Anyway just keep me updated on this... I am not going to just let them off like that... This is too much!!
