Hi I was one of the victims too. However, they have refunded me already.
The reason I posted this reply is because I have two more similar cases by other event organisers.
Firstly, Imperial Sarah Zhang last min cancelled the Hougang Hub bazaar which we have paid $1675 deposit two month ago. Even though they have refunded us two days after, I still have something to reveal to fellow vendors. From the very beginning, they have never secured any bazaar at hougang hub because the current organiser in charge of hougang hub CNY bazaar is my friend. They have secured this contract long time ago and there is no such thing as last min cancellation. Just think twice if they ask you to choose another alternative venue.
Secondly, another organiser named AKALAME, his company name is Youthbox. A few month back he claimed that he has one event at tampines mall @$80 for two days. I had registered and on the day itself, he told me I am the only tenant and there is no crowd....no point to go...he promised he will refund the full amount to me asap, but until now I nvr receive any refund. Then last year Dec, he posted one thread under letting go retail space saying he got 2 lots letting go at $300 per weekend at Far East Plaza Atrium. Lately ppl found that there is no such mentioned event on the dates he mentioned. Then he was barred from this forum.

Dear All

AMK Police just called me with regards to my report.

They said Police is unable to do anything because this Organiser did
successfully held events before & that they did not mention they are not
refunding to us, only that they keep delaying.

So the Police officer incharge suggested that we could engage a lawyer to
file a suite against them or we file a claim at the Small Claim court.

Should we gather together & file?

police say so because I treat it as breach of contract, which is I mention before, this is criminal, not breach of contract.

the thing is police did not know the whole story of these two ladies, this is not the first time they cheat ppl refering to senior push forum user.

Nowadays join Bazaar has to be extra careful many bogus organiser come into forums to cheat money.
Anybody know this organiser Bazaar en route? They are holding a Bazaar in Far East plaza Atrium on 27th/28th Feb.Want to know this organiser trustworthy or not?Thought of joining.

It is probably not considered breach of contract if they scammed more than 1 person right?

I hope police will seriously look into this case after so many reports about them.

But I did mention to the officer who spoke to me on this that I am not the only victim, but there a few more & some I believed have already filed a report... Yet this is still what she told me...

Anyway just keep me updated on this... I am not going to just let them off like that... This is too much!!

Not first time I guess. =X All you all do now is united together as one. Go report police. Make sure it is not a single scam but a lot scams. This will allow police to make action. Next, file claim against this person. Even if go to court, as long as you win the case, these people will pay the fees, and not you guys. :clap:

I think these small time organiser wanted to rent the place in Far East or other venues but they do not want to commit themself with money.They advertise first get enough people to pay them than they only lease the venue, if not enough vendors they cancel the bazaar.

(2) Date & Time of payment made fm 'yr bank account nos' and to 'organizer bank account nos'. Do state down if you happen to received any acknowlegement of receipt of pyt fm organizer.
(3) Date & Time of email received informing change of event date
(4) Date & Time of email received informing cancellation of event
(5) Conclude saying that till now no money was refunded fm the organizer, with her name and contact (pm me if you need the name & hp)

I will not hesitate to make the claim at SCT and will definitely make sure I claim her the $50 lodging fee together with the rental fee of $160! Will update any new happenings again.

Hi, do u know that u can claim more from BI thru Small Claim Tribunals (SCT)? Your taxi fare ? also the time wasting and loss of profit ?

Prettycloset, viberzdae, yukuso and one other vendor, jamie are at amk police station lodging a report against bazaar indulgence. According to e police, they are going to start investigation cause there are more n more complainants.

We had actually went down to nus bazaar to look for iris and jane. But they did not refund us.

For those who have not received your refunds, we strongly urge you to lodge a police report asap! May justice be done!!

Anyway I read from other forums that the organisers had a booth at NUS and a few went to confront them.

For above, please report to police ASAP, they are no intention to refund money to us. and we already gather the evident.

pls go to AMK south police station,there is an officer very nice, he know the full story of us, just tell them you are treated by Jane and Iris, and other ppl already report to police, you are seeking help, we already show the evident to them, they are accepted.

pls feel free to report, more ppl, more power.

when we confronted them yesterday, they even dare to say that they never force us to trf $ to their account and it is we who voluntarily trf $ to them!!!

what's more now they r telling us there is a 3rd party in BI and that 3rd party now in overseas and when we press them, they gave us this 3rd party as Jamie Loo 8333-3641.

upon checking out, we realise that it is the same contact nos of LLEvent!!!

Any body get an email from Su Iris,she is one of the BI organiser? She emailed me stated that she longer with BI,she already transfered most of the money to those tenants that transfer to her account POSB 198-22467-7 if any one miss out call her at this number 93380052.

If those that transfered money to Jane's account POSB Saving 189-51566-9 or saving plus 005-3-084923 and did not receive the refund call this number 92287483 . If she refuse to refund the money, Iris advice to go to the police or small court tribunals and she offer her asistance.She also note that Jane is flying to HK on Sunday.
Now I understand why some get a refund and some don't.:)

hi all, i was an almost-victim of Orange for the singapore expo event. almost join the FEP flea market, thank goodness for the various forums that i got to know what happen before i reg.

Admin, are u able to put up a blacklist of the various identities of this person and the various names of the event company? this way other members can be aware of which organisers to avoid. thanks

I am happy to hear that all vendors get back their hard earn money.Better be careful in future choosing organiser.
Anybody join Feb 27th/28th Bazaar in Far East plaza,dare not sign up yet I check with the person in charge Far East plaza atrium she said no bazaar on that date.Maybe organiser did not rent that place yet.
