My main queries: 1) Where to get product to sell? 2) How much start up should I prepare? 3) If I bring in product from overseas myself, do I have to pay tax?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me along. Thanks again

1)Depends on what you want to bring in. But alot of stuff are made in china lately. Clothings, I think mainly korea.

2)start up cost depends. But generally you need to plan for at least 6 mths of absolute no income.

3)if you bring in under $400 worth of goods, you can list it as samples, etc.

All these are very straight forward answers. But simplest put, whatever you put in, you should be be prepared to lose whatever money you put in.

Many thanks for your advise. I will look into it. By the way, there is a seminar on "understanding the pushcart forum", have you attended before or know anyone does?

Dear Steve,

Nobody here will teach you step by step what to do. My talk is about understanding the business in general. Why do i reveal trade secrets where thousands here are hiding it?

Because i see a flaw in the community as i am on the ground myself at the pushcart every single day. There is a serious lack of consumer confidence in pushcart businesses. Alot of people are too proud and stubborn to seek help. Just like you, ask yourself with the type of replies and help you get from here, how much can it benefit you.

If you are unhappy with my talk and find it a total waste of time, i can refund you your $88. But if you think it helps you alot, please let your friends know should they be keen in starting a business.

The STARTING part is always simple, SUSTAINING it is not easy. Alot of people start a business without knowing how to sustain it. I did not ask for help when i began, but at least i take effort to self educate and not rely on others.

Regards.
