Re: Flea Market/bazaar - How Much and Where?

Just started making gemstone jewellery. Managed to sell via personal contacts but reach is limited. So interested in participating in flea markets and bazaars. As new business, cost is important. Think $20-30 is reasonable. Let me know if you organize something.:thanx:

Scape youth park? I'm 1 of the ppl who don't know and don't know where is it... it's better to be in a place of easy reach or any shuttle service provided to attract crowds as it's inconvenience for those who don't drive.

Any advertisement about the bazaar so ppl will come to know about it? If too expensive rental then not easy for those who sell items that are in very low selling price.

Are the items repetitive in many stalls as think it'll be too competitive or boring for shoppers or comparison in prices too.

Well, just some comments to be considered hope it helps.

depending on location, aircon, table size.
generally,
$20 - $30 for 2ft x 2ft

b. where would you think would be perfect?

easily accessible e.g. walk 5mins from mrt/bus-stop
i understand cheap and crowded place is hard to achieve, if place is obscure from general public (e.g. behind some big, accessible building), marketing like banner is expected.

c. which is the best bazaar you've participated/gone to?

still the good old lime flea. i remember rent was $20 only? location was quite good also

Hi, have anyone tried Woodlands Civi Ctr or Novena Sq before?
