![]() Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and have been researching through this forum for some time. Got a few doubts that I hope to clear. 1) From what I read so far, setting up a F&B at pushcart depends on the management? 2) Do I need proper kitchen to bake the food or can I just do it at my home? 3) What permits/approval do I need? 4) I know there are hardly any management willing to rent pushcarts during weekends only, but anyone out there who knows of such place? 5) Anyone know if near Cityhall MRT has any pushcarts, and the price? Please help me clear my doubt! I am interested in setting up a push cart doing F&B to determine how well the sales is. Thanks in advance. |

![]() 1), yes.
2) you need a central kitchen. 3) check with AVA, you need at least a food prep course which is about 200+, if i remember correctly. |

![]() Hihi! As far as I know, most management do not allow F&B in pushcart - especially if cooking is involved. I only know of Tampines interchange that allow F&B at pushcarts.
However, they require you to have the food all packed and sealed before transported to the pushcart. No cooking/heating should be done there. Food needs to be cooked from a approved central kitchen and the cook needs to be vacinated and certified by AVA. This is true for ALL f&b business in Singapore. |

![]() Thanks for your detailed reply. About central kitchen, do you know any good and cheap place?
I remember seeing cityhall mrt station having a F&B pushcart last year. So was interested in trying out. ![]() |
