From my understanding, Western Union is not advisable for oversea payment. The other party may get the money and not shipping goods. And there is limited or no way to track them.

Try to use pay pal which is safer

With Paypal, both paying and receiving party need to register with Paypal. If there is any dispute, like goods not receive, Paypal can help to claim back the money. Check it out www.paypal.com

Western Union & paypal are fast but the currency rate is not that good.
Try those remittance firm in china town and you can easily save up to 50-80 with $1000 of transaction.
