China got a lot of gifts and crafts you can source you goods in Alibaba.com.Some manufacturers have website selling small quantity and look for gold supplier and had been listing in Alibaba for several years. If any thing go wrong just complain to Alibaba they will be blacklisted.I source all my goods from Alibaba and I that is a very good platform for retailer.
Register with Alibaba if you are a member whenever you ask a supplier question Alibaba will notify you if the supplier got complains before by buyer or not.
Some of the manufacturer do accept small quantity if you try to negotiate with them.China is the only source to get nice and cheap things and most of the suppliers that register in Alibaba can comunicate with you in English.
If you fly there your cost will be higher unless you buying one time 6 figure amount than is worth it.
