Re: Is our Retail Space over priced?
Need some advice/comments regarding renting retail shop in shopping mall.
Is it normal for mall management to charge rental rates by: a) Monthly rental (per sqf x area); or b) % of total sales in a month whichever is higher? |

Yes GTO is normal for shopping mall. The range will be around 15-25%.

Re: Is our Retail Space over priced?
of course the retail space price is too over priced. just walk around the prominent malls (e.g. marina, suntec, eg) on the weekday nights and observe how many empty pushcarts there are.. it is a scary sight, really.

Re: Is our Retail Space over priced?
It all depends on how goods of business at that retails space.
If you can make profit > rent, then it will be cheap. Otherwise, it will be expensive. Will you guy consider those cubric box to sell? I think just paying S$ 100 plus can get a box space at prime shopping centre. |
