名嘴黄明德上服装店要花百元买衣,销售员却不懂变通,有钱也不要赚,气走顾客。

马林百列家庭服务中心执行长黄明德最近到Parco购物中心逛街,走入一间服装店,相中一条长裤、一件T恤 和一件长袖衣。

不过,店里没有他要的长袖衣颜色和尺寸,年轻店员表示可向分行查询,并送来Parco的店面,让黄明德两天 后试穿。

原以为是一次愉快的购物经历,却在付款时变了味。

付账时,店员告诉黄明德,裤子和T恤共100元,如果他买足120元,可任选一条皮带或领带。

这时黄明德就说,如果包括之后他来试穿的长袖衣服,合计就超过120元。

不过店员说,赠品只能以当天的收据来算。

黄明德感到无奈地说,不是他不要买,而是店里目前没有他要的颜色和尺寸。但店员却回答:“我也没办法,这是 老板的规定。”

店员‘送走’顾客

黄明德觉得店员墨守成规,对服务很不满意,便表示宁可全部都不买。

谁知他刚说完,店员便将信用卡递还给他,“送走”了这名顾客。

事后,黄明德在omy博客上说,假如店员懂变通,愿为顾客多做一点,如打电话问老板,他还是会 消费。

他感叹地写道:“如何抓住顾客的‘心’,的确是生意人的大学问。”

人手短缺 导致服务欠佳

零售商协会认为,年轻销售员的服务通常不如年长员工,但问题不是国人不会服务顾客,而是本地零售业缺乏人手 ,导致服务欠佳。
