Default E-Shop Owner How to Cut Cost on Shipment

Hi Eshop & Blog owner,

Just like to get some comments and suggestion on how able to save cost for shipment. I believe the most challenging part is to keep the shipment cost low in order to keep competitiveness for the ecommerce business.

1.Does most owner do droppshipping or keep stocks?

2.How do we reduce the air shipment if any orders?

3. How can we speed up the transit time?

Please feel free to post your comments.

Eh

It is actually the other way around,

variable items that you can cut cost is to find lower price for the item you buy , buy in bulk to reduce shipping cost

time is money, last think you want to do is to have a customer complaining why take so long to reach them, you probably lost a sale and mouth advertising from the customer

Hi Winter,

Thanks for your comments.

I understood and totally agree that offering customer and fast deliver is important. Of course in business, it is solely on analysis risk and cost management. If every items we are buying in bulk, end up ,cash flow and inventory will be pilled up. It is just my personnel option. Would like to know anyone have a better comments how E-shop operate can fully utitlise on the resources.

Have a though of forming an group buying , so everyone can reduce on the frieght and less on MOQ? Any one keen ?

Most of the E-shop do have deal with DHL in long run or as a member. So that they able to enjoy a cheaper price for delivering service.

Most of e-shop do not have lot of stock on hand. They only make the order and direct send to the customer . This is what dell do ( Just in time ) . So that they save one time deliver service from suppliers, second they save the inventory cost.

If you still feel then join with e bay and amazon which providing the cheap deliver service .
