Tan, most likely they include design cost and what not into it. And most likely it is 2k for a web site, and not a web page. 2k for a webpage is insane considering that a website is usually made up of several web pages. Also, if you go to those web building companies, they will charge higher as they need to cover their overheads. I usually work with free lance.
