![]() I have an online store, but got visitors no sales. Those visitors only visit my store but never buy anything. If continue to be like that, I can close my website online. I tried in forums for free trial offers for them. But only seem not much response. Are all visitors like that? I want to know how those owners of webstore getting sales? They only have the mindset "Why should I buy from you?" Seem only want freebies. Even got testimonials, also don't like it.

![]() Hi Funpal, what are you selling? Tee-shirts?? (from what i see in your profile pic
![]() Anyway, - Is your product unique? If it is something I can easily get it anywhere, then even freebies won't attract me unless your freebies are unique ![]() - Is your pricing reasonable? - Who are your competitors and what are they doing? - Who are your target consumers? Are they out there? Are you reaching out to them correctly and timely? - Anther critical part for online sales I think is the description. Because customers cannot touch/feel, they have to buy based on your product descriptions, your pics, your answers to their questions... have you given them enough clear and good information to make a decision? In my opinion, for a starter, online sales may be slow because it takes time to build up customers' trust, so set yourself a reasonable time frame and if you still don't get any sales after re-working your strategy while your competitors are surviving ok, then perhaps luck is not with you.... cut loss, dont waste anymore time, don't give yourself anymore excuses, close shop. It's a game of perseverance.... survival of the strongest ![]() |

![]() I see you have changed your profile pic, no more t-shirt
![]() As you have already pointed out, seems like your visitors' mindsets are "why should I buy from you?" Then answer that question! Why should customers buy from you? If you can't address this question, this will be a good starting point to re-look at your business. We all learn from our own mistakes and others' mistakes and that's how we get better each day. ![]() |

![]() That why you need to add some information in your website and blog about the advantages and disadvantages of paid and not paid.
You need provide the trust why they need to paid you to get the same service? You need show that what value added that those freebies unable to provide them . You need to convince them . You need to create your own market since your market not large. |

![]() Selling online has the big disadvantage for customers is that they do not trust on the real quality of product. the real product is the same as they see on websites or not? So, The reasons for them to buy online is that they must be unique or cheaper than they are in the market. In addition, you need to build the good relationship with customers and make them believe on your shop. you need to guarantee about your product and compensation for any loss....

![]() Hi there
I was interested to set up online website to sell some stuff. After talking with few people and I kind of put off now. Singapore just like HK it is a small city. It is very convenient to shop around. And Singaporean like to feel the physical products before they buy. The market here is also small and many also not comfortable to buy online here. I would say it is tough online market in Singapore. This is just my opinion. |
