Unethical Blogshop Owner - Bewarn

Hi,

I saw someone very unethical. She create a website identical to my blog, except bags is without "s". The look and feel is also almost identical, and indicated that "I have Moved". Then link to her blog which sell the same as me. And this blog is just created recently. Trying to steal my customer who typo and keyin my url without "s". I've been selling online for years and this is the first time i saw someone so unethical, trying to impersonate my blog and save "I've Moved". I'm not even running a big business man...

It is a lesson i learnt.
Dear people out there, remember to register for your blog in "s" and without "s".

actually i do face problem aso with people copying words by words from my web n use it as their. i confronted them n they even have the cheek to say, "well we all noe where our source of products are from and tts what stated on the supplier web." but the thing is i wrote those myself lor...was quite pissed off n dunno wat else can i do beside

Copying word and photo from mine i'm still not so mad.
I actually wanted to confront the lady too but my sis say pointless cause she will not be bother with me, can continue with her dirty tricks.

But creating a typo with a missing "s" and say i've moved to her blog.
That is the worst thing i can imagine that blog owners will do. Really so desperate for sales until this stage?

Seriously i do not know what can be done to be dealt with such people. I just wanna post this msg, so that you guys can take not and grab the blog name / livejournal names that are very near to yours, just incase more people kanna attack like me. =(

you can consider trademarking your blog name or indicating that copies and pic are all created and rightfully owned by XYZ company (meaning your company).

see wat calamine solution do to their layout plan. you can do the same too!

I'm ok with them copying my image, but i think it is super unethical to create a phishing site, url almost same as me, just a missing "s" in bags and indicate i've moved. This really pissed me off. Why have to create a phishing site to mislead my customer that i've moved to her site? OMG...i just can't believe some people are so deperate for sales.

There are many unethical people around nowadays ,i am even experiencing some vendors selling similar items come to my booth pretending as customer but super obviously looking at most of my stuffs & touching looking at each of my designs very details trying to copy my designs that took me hours to think of!

I'm not familiar with blog wonder how to trademarking my pictures.Does anyone knows how?

I not sure why other people will look at so-call "rival" items.. s for me... I did participation some bazaar and do walk around to other stores, including those selling same group of items. e.g accessories, apparels. However I am not checking on my "rival".. juz looking n see gt any thing that attracts me. Coz i believe everybody holds diff type of style which may attract diff types of customers. so nth to fight at all actually.. unless that person is tryin to copy you.

The only thing i did was to put my blogname on the picture. So if other people hu wanna take my picture, it will be quite difficult bah? unless its an expert hu kws hw to edit w/o spoiling the background.

How do we trade-mark or obtain copyrights as a blogshop owner?

I mean, it's gonna b costly to trade-mark something right? Certainly gonna be difficult to trade-mark a blog... Any advice?
