Feedback on various pushcart locations

Hihi..

hmMm.. I was wondering if anyone can put up some feedback on the pushcarts, for example, hmMm..

I have tried TPY HDB hub last year and i didn't even make a single sale as my clothings were priced at $20~$40... =/
Not sure if because there were lots of competitors or coz my clothings weren't nice enough.. or my display wasn't good.. but i noticed that most people there are going for low priced items..

this year i am not sure about the crowd..
but was thinking it would be good if everyone can share some feedback on the various locations (the crowd and their buying power) so that we can all get a better idea on which locations are better, which are not.. =)

hope to hear from everyone soon:o

Hi FashionPalace,
I agree with you, most people will expect things should not be expansive in TPY Hub, if you realised, things sold there especially fashion & accessories, they range from $3-$10, or usually come in 3 for $10, or 3 for $5 etc. So if your fashion wear are above $20, perhaps it is a bit difficult to make the sales.

I have a vendor selling quite well dealing with imported Japanese undies, lingerie and boxer which is within the range of 3 for $10 to $3 for $20.

By the way the Toa Payoh Hub pushcarts outside the HDB Hub should be gone already as the lease has expire and the pushcarts will be move to the newly set up location at Aljunied which is expected to be ready in June 2007.

Hope this infor is useful
Jas

Hi all,

I have tried harbourfront centre 2nd floor selling 4 leave clovers. The rent is about $1,800. Couldn't survived for 2 mths with a few hundreds of sale profit each month. The only cart making money there is the one selling fashion watches!

hmMmm.. How is the harbourfront crowd?
Also, what is the minimum rental?
And how much are the fashion watches? I realise that Singaporeans are quite price concious.. haha.. they only go for the cheap stuffs (regardless if they are nice looking anot)

About a few dollars to 10plus.I bought a watch there b4.Yes,i agree wif u.Singaporean like to bargain and get discount.I have experience b4.Out of 10 customers,8 will ask for discount. If I dun agree to give, they will walk away. But actually, its all depend on u.If u have confident in ur products and think that it worth the price, then dun give in to ur customers.Orelse u will not make any profit, oli loss.

Hi,
Have you seen a folding table that can dismantled the 4 legs, and most of the vendors are using it right now rather than those wooden table that are heavy.
Anyone know where to get the folding table.....??

Thanks
focus9 :)
