Feedback on various pushcart locations
Hihi..
hmMm.. I was wondering if anyone can put up some feedback on the pushcarts, for example, hmMm.. I have tried TPY HDB hub last year and i didn't even make a single sale as my clothings were priced at $20~$40... =/ Not sure if because there were lots of competitors or coz my clothings weren't nice enough.. or my display wasn't good.. but i noticed that most people there are going for low priced items.. this year i am not sure about the crowd.. but was thinking it would be good if everyone can share some feedback on the various locations (the crowd and their buying power) so that we can all get a better idea on which locations are better, which are not.. =) hope to hear from everyone soon:o |
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
Hi FashionPalace,
I agree with you, most people will expect things should not be expansive in TPY Hub, if you realised, things sold there especially fashion & accessories, they range from $3-$10, or usually come in 3 for $10, or 3 for $5 etc. So if your fashion wear are above $20, perhaps it is a bit difficult to make the sales. I have a vendor selling quite well dealing with imported Japanese undies, lingerie and boxer which is within the range of 3 for $10 to $3 for $20. By the way the Toa Payoh Hub pushcarts outside the HDB Hub should be gone already as the lease has expire and the pushcarts will be move to the newly set up location at Aljunied which is expected to be ready in June 2007. Hope this infor is useful Jas Quote:

Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
Hi all,
I have tried harbourfront centre 2nd floor selling 4 leave clovers. The rent is about $1,800. Couldn't survived for 2 mths with a few hundreds of sale profit each month. The only cart making money there is the one selling fashion watches! |
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
hmMmm.. How is the harbourfront crowd?
Also, what is the minimum rental? And how much are the fashion watches? I realise that Singaporeans are quite price concious.. haha.. they only go for the cheap stuffs (regardless if they are nice looking anot) |

Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
Hi,
Have you seen a folding table that can dismantled the 4 legs, and most of the vendors are using it right now rather than those wooden table that are heavy. Anyone know where to get the folding table.....?? Thanks focus9 :) |
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
hmMmm... no.. have not seen any.. have any pics?
|
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
Hi,
No picture. But, maybe next time if you walk pass any flea market along HDB, you will notice that is a very useful table for those w/o transport. It can be folded like carrying a huge drawing board. ;) |
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
hmMmmmm.. ok.. lol.. will try to look out for it..

Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
hey, instead of pushcart. why dont you guys opt for fleas ?
fleas are much more unique and v. suitable for accesories. lime fleas and such are cheap rentals and the crowd definitely helps ! |

Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
hey there,
you see, flea markets are almost all the same. ppl normally go there to hunt for cheap bargains. lime flea markets are rather popular you see, as the location is at town, and its a bi monthly thing. the stall rent is only 20 bucks, excluding the the folding tables and chairs. but getting a stall is not easy, as you will be shortlisted. due to lime having a mag, the lime flea market is rather advertise. so the crowd is definitely pretty good. if you're interested, i could let you know the crowd as im going soon . just nida pm me will do. hope this helps |

Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
Actually I've tried lime flea market before but I think there are too many accessories stores there and your items gotta really stand out or be really cheap in order to attract the crowd.
Anyone knows about other flea markets besides the lime one? |
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
i've tried at international bizness park. working crowd. but sales wasn't good, i only sold one top. i rent it in jan, when everyone was clearing their leave~ haha~ selling handmade accessories and clothes~but heard others sell there all did pretty well~

Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
How much is the rent there at IBP??
|
Re: Feedback on various pushcart locations
It's $13 per day. There's only 4 pushcarts there, targeting the office crowd going for lunch, so u only need to work frm 11am-230pm, after which there's no crowd anymore. It's inside a building. Then the 4 pushcarts are situated in a small walkway that leads to the food court.
