i also think those who don't face payment problem are either new tenants or inqbox staff. Inqbox owe me payment exceed more than 90days.

Strongly Agree! A Strong Rapport is a MUST. Sales is afterall 2-way. You don't expect to "dump" your products elsewhere and expect profits without doing anything.

Hi All,

Was thinking of getting a box to do some sales.. Any suggestions on where is the good location to rent the box? Any idea how much are the rates for rental? What is the minimum rental period required?

It seems to me there are two different issues here.

One, whether the box shop concept is working. It is definitely working as this concept is spreading worldwide now to even USA and China. This concept also originated from Japan and it is definitely not an original concept by Inqbox. I certainly hope they are not advertising they are the one who started it first, maybe in Singapore but not worldwide.

So it seems that the box shop concept is working in Singapore and smalltime retailers are successful in selling their stuff. So the next issue now is some of them have difficulty getting paid and Inqbox is the only one mentioned here. I am just curious why they have this problem seeing as the concept is working. Is it because they don't have enough boxes rented out so there is a cashflow problem? I am also curious about those people who are not getting paid in time? Do you guys still pay your box rental regularly? Maybe you can deduct your rent from your payment?

I am still interested in renting a box store but I am really nervous after hearing all these complaints about late payment. Also I am not only hearing it in this forum but word of mouth from other people who have this problem as well. I hope it can be fixed so I can be confident about getting a box store as it seems to be working.

The thread which I previously started to discuss about box-shops and shelf space was closed because of some "poisonous" comments posted by certain forumer(s) which may result in potential defamation law suit. Ha, that thread was so negative, this thread is so positive.

Sometimes I wonder why can't we cotinue from that thread and everyone gets to see a more balance picture with the new influx of positive feedback. In this thread, once comments turn negative, people shout bias, people shout unfair, sigh.... may be Admin should also consider closing this thread too because it seems like the discussion is no longer meaningful!

nt to create any scene here. i am not a regular at forums, but bcoz a XX branch at parkway branch closed down last month (OCT) sparkled me to google for threads like this and to read more about what is happening...

i still hasnt gt my earnings for aug till now, which mount to $860. and plus4.5 months remaining of refund and deposit, a total amounting to 2.4k. many calls made to hq, but lady answering, keep saying she doesnt know and shes new.

(*btw, i gave them my bank account number via the shop assistant and email after i joined, when i called a month back, the lady told me they dun have it, and 2 wks later there still wasnt any reply about my earnings)

for the other sellers who gt their payout, i'm glad you did, because a few of us are the unlucky ones...

i have 9 other rented boxes as well from other XX shops. and they truely are the upright company i am happy to deal with....
