To All Sellers,

Have anyone booked a space @ Clarke Quay on 14-15 Aug? Do anyone face any problems/'misunderstanding' with the organiser? Do let me know as i am facing one right now. Thanks.

It happens when i try to get to confirm with them on the table allocation. I saw that there are only 2 tables taken out of 30 tables and of coz, out of concern i asked them why are there only 2 tables taken?? And this is wat i received instead.

Why didnt he inform me the tyme has been postponed when i was about to make payment and this is wat he replied.

Since this is the case, ive decided to ask for my refund. The reply is this.

[ Jul 31 (4 days ago) Hi FizaJunior, I think your email might abit slow in getting the emails i sent. So last conclusion is I am still negotiating with the Clarke Quay Management. Will send you the updates by Monday. Thereafter if the event is not on, I will do the refund to you. Thanks. ]

Today is Tuesday and i still have not received any news/updates/feedbacks/REFUND from the company. Is this rite? Ive had my flea markets @ Clarke Quay with other organisers and this is the first tyme ive encountered such problems. Tats y i would like to find out from anyone else who encountered such problem. :mad:

i got the following email on Thur,30/07/09,17:39 from the organiser of Night Bazaar Under The Stars @ Clarke Quay Central Square.

Hi,
Are you still keen in taking the space on 14-15 Aug? Please refer to attached floor plan. Thanks.

Nope as the date crash with suntec.

thanks for ur info.
i found this organizer a bit unreliable, that's y we hvnt booked any table yet.
few months ago they also post a clarke q bazar at $400 per table while others posted at $300.
after a while, the post just disappeared without any explanation.
only last week i get their email and saw their post about 14-15 august event.
they even post another one on september.

wish u luck fizabizshop on getting ur money refunded ;)

As I have posted previously, June is a peak period and the reason for increase in rental is the extra charge imposed by Clarke Quay Management, not by us. Reason why the other organiser is having it at a low price then is because it's organised by a school for their students as a project.

Hi Aphrodite, My bad for trusting a NEW company who in the end play me out! I wanted to get my money back but this is wat ive gotten from them.

[ Hi Fiza, I am sorry there is no refund made for cancellation and in the 1st place, I have waited very long for your payment to be made. After your initial payment of $225 on 23rd June, you only paid up the balance of $75 on 23rd July which is 1 month later. I can only transfer it to Sep's event. ]

The event is in AUGUST! And they have already made soooo much noise about me delaying the payment in JUNE ! and now this crap of non-refundable payment when its their FAULT for not informing us on the postpone of dates! If ive known about the changes of date way before i make the payment, do u tink i would still wan my refund for cancellation??!!!

This company is definitely unreliable and i hope the ADMIN is able to do something about this. I dont wan others to get cheated as i am now! And plus ive lost my HARD-EARNED S$300 for nothing!!!

Dear lleventsmarketing, i will check with Gmail on why am i the only one who didnt receive most of ur emails esp on the changes of dates!

Good luck with ur other events and dun wori, i will not 'make a big issue' in future coz this is my first and last time dealing with u guys.
