FIZABIZSHOP,
i believe that it is ur right to get a table on their sept event since u already pay for it, regardless how angry and dissapointed u are with the organiser. In any case they cancel the event/bazar, they hv to refund u the whole amount.

I agreed with aphrodite and i noticed about the rental charges also, not only on the june clarke quay event.

Calamine charge $35/day at jelita for a week, your company charge $50/day from 4-8 October (Sunday - Thursday)

I rented 5 days at punggol plaza from another organiser on 26/06-30/06 (holiday period) at $80/day for a 2mx2m space and from your floorplan the cheapest is $100/day.

I'm just stating on how i feel, pls take it as a feedback for your reference, do not be offended :)

Hi Robson,

This is the rate fixed by my company. So it's up to you to choose. :) and also, not necessarily that all organisers all be having the same rate at the same place.

Hi Aphrodite,

Yes I mentioned to Fiza that he will still be participating in the Sep event but he insists on cancelling the event and asking for my refund. So that's why I told him no refund is given for cancellation. And till date after he made the payment, he has not chosen his stall yet. So I think he might be having 2nd thoughts after making the payment thus insisting on the refund.

LL events,
in my opinion, the mistake is made by ur company. Ur company changed the event date as far as a month from the initial date. and furthermore, ur company posted that event on monday and regulated via emails to us, stated the date of the event is 14-15 august. Even as we speak, the post has not been removed or changed.

Dont u think anyone who saw that post believe that the event is still on?

What makes u so sure that he's available to join ur event next month? Ur company changed the date and as a result he choose to withdrawn fm the event.
again, in my opinion, refunding his money is the most appropriate gesture, as a good will act fm ur company.

as per ur reply to robson, we hv a luxury to choose the bazar organiser but till this date i haven't found any of them changing the event date or charging more expensive than the others.
just my 2cents worth :)

Hi Aphrodite,

Thanks for your feedback, I will forward to my company. As for the rental rates, I guess it's up to individual organiser to price. Its up to the vendors to choose the most comfortable one. :)

I agree that not all organiser charge the same rate and it is up to us to choose:)
Don't take it to heart, it is only a feedback to you and to fellow forum member.
It is difficult to cover the rental and earn some decent profit on normal rental charges already, dont mention about HIGH rental charges on the same place :)
I have not joined and seen any event from your company, i apologise if your event is different to other organiser, maybe like half a page advertisement on straits time or maybe 24K 3ftx3ft gold table and chair.

Is the infamous "orange" the owner behind LL events? Just wondering.

I shall wait for the 'company' of lleventsmarketing to get back to me on this issue/refund. Until then, this person is still blacklisted from my list.

I am not trying to 'break someone's ricebowl' here but this is wat ive noticed on this 'so-called company' :-
* If this is really a company, who have i been communicating with?? No contact person / No name given...There MUST BE at least someone whom we can contact offline.

* If this is really a company, why aint i been given a receipt for my payment?? Take note that 75% of the total payment was been paid in JUNE 2009!
Maybe i can & will try to check with CLARKE QUAY management to see if there is REALLY such company trying to apply for a space there!

I really feel sorry for you FizaBiz. Did I see this correctly: "So that's why I told him no refund is given for cancellation.". LLEvents is NOT going to refund Fiza when LL is clearly the one in the wrong when they canceled the event and changed the dates?!?! Ermm...isn't this considered a scam? And FizaBiz, you should seriously check out this "company". I'll be sticking to my usual flea organisers for now...
