We are pleased to announce that we are working with Katong Square mall to bring you The Katong Square Artisan Bazaar !
Katong Square is an elegant mall located in the eastern part of Singapore! Located in the site of the former Joo Chiat Police Station, The mall is situated in the heart of Katong and boasts the largest open public space in the vicinity, creating a unique neighbourhood gathering point, housing a good mix of local perankan, japanese, chinese and western restaurants.
This bazaar started running from Feb to Jul 2017 every last weekend of the month!
Visitors to the mall are :
- Friday evenings after work dinner and drinks crowd
- Local and expatriate families who live in the Katong and East Coast area.
- Tourists, business travellers Guests of 2 Indigo and Holiday Inn Express hotels.
- Patrons of the famous eateries in the mall and east coast area due to the ample and preferred parking rates, who must enter and exit by the lobby on level 1
- Guests of events held in the Ballroom located on level 2 of the heritage building
- Sunday late morning church crowd

Note that this is a moderately curated bazaar. All merchandise and services is subject to acceptance by the organiser and the venue owner.
Eligibility:
Singaporeans, PRs, Legitimate residents of Singapore. As this is a work-pass exempted event,visiting overseas merchants on short term visit pass my participate but must notify the Ministry of Manpower (you can do this online) for exemption.
Artisan merchants with a verifiable track record of participating in artisan markets and who have also blogshops or social media presence would be accorded priority.
Marketing efforts:
Venue owner will be conducting direct letterbox drops as their overall mall marketing drive..
Tenants will be also be conducting their marketing and sales promotions.
Event Organiser - TGIF Bazaars and/or Venue Owner from time to time may provide giveaways and Emcee services
Initiative for Collective marketing communications
We encourage all participating merchants to market yourselves through Facebook-compatible social media so that TGIF Bazaars can share your offerings on this dedicated facebook page Katong Square Artisans' Bazaar. Please like and share this page.

Terms and conditions
Allocation, Booking, Confirmation and Payment for Bazaar Booth
Upon payment receipt of the booth, the organizer will assign the booth to each vendor based on our own discretion, to our best effort. All rights reserved.
Bad Weather
The event is slated to continue, rain or shine.
No refund will be given for bad weather.
Merchants are encouraged to equip themselves with plastic sheets to counter bad weather.
Liabilities
You agree to indemnify the Organiser and the venue for any loss or caused to their property and / or injury to their employees arising out of your (including your employees, agents or representatives) negligence.
Any littering or illegal disposal of waste is strictly prohibited and offenders are liable to pay a fine or face ban from future participation at the bazaar.
No smoking in our booths - there are designated areas nearby.
Others
All merchants are advised to bring along a black cloth to cover your merchandise while leaving them overnight at the venue. For outdoor booths please weather proof your storage. (Overnight storage is provided as a convenience to vendors. The venue and organizer shall not be liable for any product loss or damage)
All merchants are advised to make your booths as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
Organiser and Venue Owner rights
TGIF Bazaars and Katong Square Holdings reserve the rights to make changes and amendments to all terms and conditions without prior notice.
