Gardener's Day @ HortPark (The Old and The New - Christmas Special)

HortPark is part of the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve. We are a one-stop gardening hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities under one big canopy in a park setting. We are also a knowledge hub for plants and gardening, providing gardening ideas and solutions, and offering a platform for the industry to share best practices and showcase garden designs, products and services.

We are especially popular with gardening enthusiasts, families, and community groups who yearn for a tranquil environment for relaxation, and are frequently visited by people who enjoy taking nature walks along the Southern Ridges.

Every month, we collaborate with our industry partners and members of various gardening groups to organise gardening activities for the public. School collaborations are also run extensively to start gardening awareness and nature appreciation among young children.

The quarterly Gardeners' Day Out event is an extension of our mass outreach efforts, offering interactive and fun-filled gardening activities to cultivate the spirit of gardening in everyone, regardless of your level of interest and knowledge in gardening. Great plant bargains and offers are also available at our Gardening Bazaar held at every edition of our Gardeners' Day Out.

Flea Asia will be in conjunction with their Garden's Day out (which have many activities planned out already). Gardener's Day is one of the most successful park event in SG, have been running for 3 years (every quarter once) and this is the first time they are trying to host a fashion sideline.

Types of programs to be happening on the same day as our bazaar are: Garden bazaar - confirmed 26booths selling garden stuff like plants seeds etc , free classes on plant consultation, family activities like craft/gardening, talks and demonstrations, tours and workshops, park connecting program to bring people in from Mount Faber.

For the past years, there was an average of 4500 visitors during the event day, with the highest amount at 6000pax + confirmed 4 loads of buses that bring people in from various CC/RC.

-If you are not free, hire a manpower to attend to your booth for only $100/day
-Vendors will be entitled to a 50% discount on all advertising banners at Blogshop Asia.

-Blast out emails to public from botanic garden's database and their own database, banners all over the place on all road leading to Hort park, on their websites, blast emails to all Government agencies for their staff to come, and publicity posters.
