Zhongshan Mall is located at the centre of National Heritage Board’s building conservation area of Balestier Road and just next to the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall / museum. It is part of the Heritage Trial of Balestier Road. Zhongshan Mall surrounds are private condominiums and many up and coming new private condominium blocks. Zhongshan Mall is within Zhongshan Park Development which consists of a 13th Storey Hiap Hoe Office at Zhongshan Park, 384 rooms Ramada Singapore Hotel, 405 rooms Days Hotel and Zhongshan Park itself.

The Mall serves the surrounds local dwellers, the tourists and the visiting students exploring and learning on the Heritage Trial, the office staffs and guests of the hotels. The demographics are between the ages of 15years and 45 years old. Young executives working at middle to upper management levels and office administrative staffs patronise the Mall.
