I’m pleased to announce the return of A Rooftop Affair – Serangoon Garden’s only rooftop concert experience on 18th June 2016, from 6.30pm at myVillage Rooftop at Level 3. This year, American singer-songwriter Greyson Chance is set to perform his new songs for fans in Singapore.

Serangoon Gardens is a private housing estate in Singapore. There are a variety of types of housing, including terrace homes, semi-detached and bungalows. This area is popular with well-heeled Singaporeans and expatriates, with its close proximity to amenities and top international schools.
The food and beverage outlets are located in the estate's central area. Serangoon Garden Circus is at the centre of the estate. In this vicinity, there are cafés, restaurants, coffee shops, fast food restaurants and a shopping mall.
All the roads radiate from the circus, and the houses are located within walking distance. The estate has a tennis and squash centre at Burghley Drive. At Kensington Park Road, there is a country club known as Serangoon Gardens Country Club which had the very popular Jumbo seafood restaurant. Jumbo closed and there is now a Yum Cha Chinese restaurant there.
A new shopping mall has opened in its place with NTUC Fairprice and a branch of DBS bank as its anchor tenants. There is an increasing number of expatriates living in the area, due to the fact that the Australian, French and American International Schools have opened within the vicinity of Serangoon Gardens.
Once you experience the history and charm of Serangoon Garden, you’ll understand why people have developed such a close bond with this estate. You can find almost everything you need in this little corner of Singapore – with a dash of personality thrown in.
Soulless malls don’t belong in Serangoon Garden, and myVillage will be anything but. Marrying light-hearted nostalgia and modern convenience, it is a place where people can buy daily essentials, pamper themselves, unwind and bond with their loved ones.

Marley and Jules are lifelong residents at myVillage, formerly known as Serangoon Garden Village. These twins have been hanging out at this cosy little enclave at the corner of Maju and Farleigh Avenues all their lives, so they know the place inside out. In fact, they were named after these iconic avenues, because of their family’s love for the place.
Marley and Jules have made myVillage their village. They would love to help you make it yours, too!
Hugh the Cat has travelled the world and seen it all! Yearning for home and the food that Marley and Jules makes, he rode a camel through the Gobi Desert before hitching a ship ride home.
Since he’s settled back into Serangoon Garden Village, Hugh has started to do what he loves most. Throwing parties, decking out myVillage in stylish touches and coming up with cool happenings. All while chilling out next to the water fountain at the backyard – when no one else is there, of course.
Hugh has assumed the self-invented position of Chief Party Engineer at myVillage and will be seen lazing around myVillage and dreaming up the next big bash.
