![]() Hi
Anybody has had experience with Facebook advertising? Was it worth the money spent in terms of fan acquisition or perhaps the publicity? Cheers The Analyst |

![]() It was worth it in the past, because you only pay 1 cent per click even though it has poor traffic.
Since 2010, those spots have been conquered by many giant corporations & government agencies which drives cost per click to 30-40 cents. With such high cost per click and poor traffic, it's totally not worth it to advertise there. |

![]() I'd be damned!
40 cents for 1 click. Assuming a "fan" conversion rate of 10%, to get 1000 fans, I'd need 10,000 clicks costing $4000? Hmmm... expensive. Guess I missed the boat ![]() |

![]() It's super expensive now.. but it is so hard to send out EDMs these days..
people just click on 'SPAM' and your domain name is blocked! and most people don't really know what repercussions it has on the sender.. ![]() |

![]() Why not do your own facebook marketing for a start? All you need is to create a business profile (not your own personal facebook profile) and start building friendships (potential customers).
Once the number of friends grow, that will be your potential sales target. What you need is to have a strategy from choosing the right friends to posting valuable updates. Once your popularity rises, you will be able to generate sales from your friends in facebook. It is not easy and require hard work. But once you get it, you will reap the benefits from facebook marketing. |
