I started a biz at a wet market shop. I notice the stalls around me selling clothes fm $8 to $15..that is abt my cost price. How did they get such cheap supply? I cant afford big quantity as I dont hv traffic volume.
Can anyone know of this type of supplier without minimum qty? I usually get at
City Plaza. pls pm me..thanks.

import from china lo... city plaza import from china also, then sell to u. $8 not considered cheap le..

Hi Shuimu,

You have to do a trip to Bangkok or China with an empty shopping bag.

Price is only one of the available strategies. But not viable in the long term.

Rather think of building a brand...
have a consistent look and feel in the shop...
dare to focus on a single theme eg. floral
or even a single category eg. cheongsam

differentiate from the rest of the stores

also you need to have an online channel
blogshop, online shop, ebay etc.
