hi, didn't mean to be a wet blanket but $30 per day for a cash register is a bit on the high side. Those who run fleas and bazaars don't earn that much lah. Furthermore I think they don't usually use cash register, too troublesome to carry around.

Perhaps you want to include product details eg model number, pic, and quote a reasonable selling price, there may be interested 2nd-hand buyers. Otherwise, I think it will continue to lie there and collect dust...

Hi,

May i know do you want to rent or buy? I don't quite get what you mean. Are you saying that you cannot afford to rent but you can afford to buy one?

Different people has different business needs, some businesses setup their stores with different events like in Expo, Shows, Flea Market, etc.

May i know which organisation you represent to show that statistically flea market owners do not make much?

I'm just providing an alternative service to people who wants to have a Cash Register for their business in short term rather than spending hundreds or thousands of dollars just to buy one and not using it everyday.

Try calling and asking other rental companies and see how much they charge for rental

More info about the machine is updated on first post.

Can't edit first post.

So the specs are:

1) Able to input company name, product name into receipt.
2) Runs on Thermal Paper and paper is provided.
3) Able to do settlement, tally total sales.
4) Dual screen for both you and customers how much to pay and change to be given.

"which organization you represent to show that STATISTICALLY flea market owners do not make much?" Aiyo.... take it easy lah....

Sigh, it's just a suggestion on my part for you to consider lowering the rental or offering it as a 2nd hand purchase item. Come on, no need to get some worked up... Fine fine... just stick to your $30 per day... Good luck!

Hi Dexcube,
This is my sincere suggestion. Maybe you could put the brand and model no. of your cash register or POS. From what you have described, there might be a lot of cash register out there (which only cost about $200-$400) which can have about the same features that you have describe.
This is my opinion. I might be wrong but most flea markets and bazaars do not use cash register machine as they normally use cash transaction directly. Also, not all flea markets and bazaars venues have power point so there is not point in having a cash register.
If your cash register model cost less than 1K in the market, then, I would suggest that you sell it one off as a 2nd hand machine. Unless your cash register machine have a lot of function and cost more than 1k in the market, then you may be able to rent it out. Otherwise, most vendors knows the maths calculation. After renting out for 2 weeks (14 days), I would have paid $420 already. If the machine cost less than 1k, I might as well buy one directly.
Again, this is a place where we learn and share sincerely and I do not hope you take it the wrong way. Xoxoxo is also sharing from experience and I'm sure he/she does not have any ill intentions.

I'm keen in the rental if the model is what we need.
Please PM me with more details.

FYI: I'm looking for something that can input around 20 product codes on top of your above mentioned specs. Thanks.
