Siebel 8.3
Anybody knows if Oracle would be releasing a new version of their Siebel CRM suite of enterprise applications?
My general understanding is that Siebel 8.1.x and Siebel 8.2.x would be the last main line versions before sunsetting to make way for Oracle Fusion (a.k.a. Oracle confusion).
I just heard today from a colleague that there will be a Siebel 8.3 to be released circa 2015. Wondering if there is any truth to that...
I am also wondering if they will be just a repackaging of those Innovation Packs released annually into one combined install, which will then make the Siebel 8.3 release cosmetic more than anything else.
Any Siebel consultants around to comment?
