Hello

We do not allow weblinks, emails and phone numbers to be published directly on the forum proper because there are people who will take advantage of this to spam. We have seen numerous cases where the user poses multiple copies of the same message in different threads/forums with an innocent looking message but always ending with "btw my blog is www....".

Anyways, not to worry, other members can always reach you by email directly by clicking on you username and selecting "Send email to dotaxedot" (see attachment). Some other users, unlike you, may prefer to use PM as a added layer of privacy.

As for signature, the issue is similar. If advertising info is allowed in the signature, some users will be tempted to post frivilous messages all over the forums just for the sake of exposure.

However, do note that we are flexible and we may change our rules as the forum evolves.
