You can use the email or PM function to contact other members only when you have made a minimum of 5 postings. Other members cannot contact you even if they have met the quota already.

You can contact another member by email or PM by clicking on their username in any posting that he/she made. You will be presented with a drop down menu that gives you a choice of either:
- sending him/her a private message OR
- sending him/her an email (provided it has been enabled).

As a recipient, if you would like to receive emails from other members, you can enable the email function by going to "User CP" in the forum menu and checking the "Receive Email from Other Members" checkbox under Edit Options.

Henceforth, there is no need to parade your emails all over the forums when you want the thread starter to contact you. You just need to say "Email/PM me please!"
