Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
tomorrow is the event....see you guys at SAM 8Q between 10am and 10pm!

Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
Just came back from SAM. I thought the organiser mention that there will be 50 booths and a few days ago mention that all the booths are all taken up? If I m not mistaken, there were less than 20 booths when I visited a while ago. Where were the 50 booths that you have initially promised??
I did not even see any brochures being pass to tourist around the hotels as promised? This place is so quiet with not much traffic at all. I just hope that the few vendors are able to cover the cost for the remaining of the day as the sky also look dark when I left that place. Felt that I have wasted my time going all the way to that place. Next time, if there are not going to be 50 stalls available, just say so and not trying to give the wrong impression. Just my opinion. |
Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
Hi Beztech, I think you missed out on the 2nd level program space where there were another 32 stalls. The flyers were being given at the SAM main building at various timings and subsequently on the 2nd floor of 8Q SAM to draw the crowd's attention to the space.
I do admit there is room for improvement for sure and therefore I thank you for your feedback :) Best, Jeremy Edit: And thanks for making the effort to come down. I hope it wasn't as bad as your tone implies. |
Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
I was wondering that if Beztech couldn't find those 32 stalls then maybe others couldn't too. Maybe there should be signs telling potential customers that there are more stalls on the second level? Hope you don't mind my comments as I feel that you are very proactive on your thread and seem to take a lot of trouble to promote your event and make it better.

Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
Dgelim thats a fair comment. There were indeed 3 signs at various parts of 8Q but feedback was that they were not noticable, hence many missed it. That was why I turned usher for the 2nd floor in the later part of the afternoon.
Anw I appreciate your comments :) A complaining customer represents an opportunity for me to get better so all well-intentioned feedback is welcome. |
Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
No problem, Peter. Hope the Rabbits Foot Bazaar was a success

Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
I guess human traffic was slow due to 2nd day of CNY whereby most people would have gone visiting instead. I did make some sales and some of our friends who visited also gave biz to other vendors. Anyway, kudos to Jeremy who was indeed helpful, he personally helped vendors to bring their barang barang up to the 2nd floor n was on his feet whole day to make sure that the event is run smoothly. A committed organizer is what I look for other than good sales and hope the next event he organize will bring cheers to those who participate again.

Re: Rabbits Foot Bazaar
Just Hobby thanks for your comments. You are right to say that the 2nd day of CNY is one of the contributing factors of the thin crowd. I'm happy though that some vendors have recognized my effort to make it a success as much as possible. I do promise that the next bazaar will be better :)
