Public Garden - Art Festival 2012 Esplanade

I heard business was terrible and the place is very hot. Several vendors who booked 3 weekends are now scrambling to release their stalls. Was it really that bad?

The place was not only hot but humid. Saw a few vendors have to bring their own fan but still sweating. Also, on the first week, there was a guy who was giving a hair cut at the exact venue. When the wind blows......all the hair that was cut flew all over the place. A bit unhygenic. Hope the organiser can do something.

I know of 2 sellers letting go of their stalls. I cannot take heat well and will give it a miss. Besides, getting home after midnight will be a hassle.

It was definitely very warm there. Even with my mini portable fan, I was really sweating. But for me, business was good. Managed to cover rental and made a profit. Unfortunately couldn't make it for the other 2 weekends due to prior appointments.

The lucky part was that we were able to leave our stuff there and there's the midnight (Night Owl Bus) bus home.
