Geylang Serai Bazaar For Hari Raya
 

Hi there..

I am actually quite interested to rent a Booth at the Bazaar at Geylang Serai,
For the Hari Raya Season This Year 2010..

However, I just cannot find the Organiser for it.. :confused2:

Is there anyone out there who has Tried it Or have any valueable Information about rental or applying?

Hi.

Since last week, the organizers numbers are placed on banners along haig road and the Malay village . You can call them. I just book a stall on Monday but by then a lot of spaces were already taken. I was told that many of previous stall had placed bookings since last year!

I am thinking of looking for to share my stall. But it's quite small though. Stall size 3mx2.4m. I am selling perfumes and scented products and am looking for those selling ladies fine accessories.

Organiser like Alan, spaces are sure booked fast. The crowd has always been good! Malays are willing to splurge, especially on food.

Hmm auraswithscent, if you are sharing, what's the space you are sharing and at what cost? Which space have you got. I am interested in the stall(but hopefully I can squeeze in with My Dad stall)!

this is my first time renting a stall. I just started my business. But I totally agree with you that being a Malay myself, I am willing to spent especially during the fasting month. :)

I got the stall opposite of haig road food centre, just at the overhead bridge. My intention is to share half the space. We got the rental at $5k. So if sharing at 2.5k. Are you selling accessories? Where is your dad shop?

Anyway, how long is the bazaar period?
Is it 3weeks or exactly a month?

starts from 11th august to eve of hari raya. So it's a month.

It's considered a pretty high rental for a small little space, kind of hard to break even than. I have a whole collection of a females needs from top to toe. =D
My Dad stall, hmm not very sure yet where it would be. It would be drink + hot dog stall. They should bring the date forward! National Day's just round the corner. Hmm all the best, let me know where the exact location will be! Can go down see see look look as what I always do! & SHOP =D
