Did anyone try out the July Car boot Sale at Turf City ?
Care to share the traffic , spending power etc ?

Hello!

My turn to give you some advices =p
I was there on 25 July and I would never go there again!
1) Super Hot Weather! No fan, though the organiser was really nice to give each vendor 1 umbrella( I was sharing so I get nothing..hehe)
2) Really behind a car park, so you can imagine how many people actually will go?
3) My news from someone who did vainity fair @ KLP with best sales was merely cover cost for this and did not even go for the 2nd day one!

Although the experience was not a very nice one
But I wanna say fleabuzz people are really of great help to everyone
I hope they would have better events!

I've no comments:D for Sat's sales / crowd as i was there only on Sun.

My comments bout Turf City - jus like at east coast, you must be able to withstand the hot sun:smoke: . crowd and spending power is almost comparable to east coast's CBS (that's from me only, not speaking for the rest).

The good thing is, i can sneak into the air conditioned shopping area which is jus a few steps away from my stall AND most importantly, they have an ATM machine there:yippee: , which is something east coast dun. lost afew sales cos of no ATM machine when i was at ECP in Apr.

i was still thinking of getting their next one but i think most likely i will skip it...

too much sun no good.

Sales really depends on your day's luck lor... i sell accessories. you can give it a try if you're the type who can tahan the hot sun. must be prepared for a good sun tan.

Was there on 25th too..Was hot but not as bad after 1pm. The crowd was intermittent though they do have the spending power. In any case must compliment the organisers. They did their job and were very friendly. Overall would give the whole event an 7.5 :-)
