Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
Hi,
Anyone tried the bazaars @ Clark Quay in May & June? How's the crowds there? Was your sales good? I saw the organizer is charging quite high ~ min $300/table. I was wondering if it is possible to cover the rental alone. All feedback are welcome.:thanx: |

Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
Hi there,
I have done clark quay Bazaar twice. Yes, I had the same sentiments as you too on whether i can cover the rent alone? From these 2 times, I must say that firstly, There traffic flow there is excellent and best of all, the people there have spending power. Sold a couple of items for over $100+. Manage to cover rent on both occasion and made some $$. Do consider the bazaar :) |
Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
I think overall, still need to depend on what kind of items you are selling and whether you are able to attract people to buy. =)

Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
went for this bazaar few times...the recent bazaar at Clarke Quay was 5-6 JUN
Sharing with friend ($150 per person for 2 days) ...the buying power is weak..only can cover rental..no profit..even loss if include manpower, transportation cost.. Going to try in JUL...if still weak...going to withdraw it.. Really hard to make profit |
Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay

Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay

Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay

Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
Wow..., after reading the comments, it seems to me that it really depends on which month to get one, our materials cost must be very low, or to mark-up your end products high to cushion the rental + materials cost but not our labour cost. Sad to say that but I think is quite true.
The only thing to comfort ourselves is to treat it as 'create awareness of our products', isn't it?:( |
Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
yeah i agree on "creating awareness" bt seriously it depends on ur products n "sales talk" mostly.
customers at clarke quay r mainly tourists or clubbers, they hv buying power! bt u might hv to b more aggressive n be ready to bargain n slog ur a** off! its worth it. quite a fun experience actually despite the high rental n sauna-like venue. haha! we managed to earn quite a bit on both days (5-6 Jun) blessed! |
Re: Feedback: Bazaars @ Clark Quay
Hi to all. I'm pretty new to the bazaar 'world' and would like to set up a booth @ Clarke Quay. Anyone knows who to contact regarding the rental of the booths (which company)? Also, which area of Clarke Quay is the bazaar held at?
TIA! |

Ya thats true.Due to the customers there are tourists they tends to extremely bargain alot which insists on the price they willing to pay for, that maybe at your cost price but to sell at very low profit margin or at cost if not = no sales? What is the best solution? Crowds is there buying power there is but i notice that even at the same clarke quay selling the exact same items & displays but just cos its facing at different location its makes a big differences in sales too that can be as bad as barely cover the rental or with profits after rental. How do you people out there ,what do you all do to build your brand awareness?Does it really helps? Like what goko states above its quite true after deducting everything is there even any profits makes? So overall is it really worth it? |
