Hi Folks,

Does anyone knows weather there's bazaar/fleamarket @ any polytechnics on Apr? I'm interested...pls PM me if you know any...

Hi, I'm interested in SIM bazaars! I saw that there were quite a few a couple of months back, but i'm not too sure how to sign up for their bazaar. :(

for SIM bazaars, u would have to contact their student unions. u may want to try their SIM-RMIT full time student union, i dun have their direct no as the contact person changes per semester. can call SIM tel and ask them to redirect u or to the staff i/c of student union. rental about $100 per day. sales-wise.. hmm.. really depends

I think you can sell in any poly or jc or SIM as long as you got friend to help you sell and signup? My friends in poly always help me sell things (the rental is very cheap for them) so thats just how i go about doing it.Just asking the students lol. Other than that best way is to go to the school itself but if you are outsider not easy to get approved.But hey you might get lucky!

really? hm.. cos the last time i ask, they told me $100/day.. then i was thinking like how i can recoup this "investment" cos sales seem slow then. how's the sales these days?

For SIM , i think maybe you guys are talking about different stuff ?

Pushcart and bazaar ? I think there's different rate for them .

I'm not sure about the pushcart rate . But bazaar rate is quite flexible . Depends on the organiser .

Come to think of that , it has been quite long since i last joined their bazaar .

Rather quiet nowadays . Examination period if i'm not wrong .

Or just that i'm outdated ! =X

school bazaars nowadays aren't cheap, the students are getting ridiculous with the rental.

wow!! $100 per day? but i heard from my fellow flea hoper friend like not so ex leh.. ard $20 to 30 like that only.. but very few stalls, she say only like 5 stalls and not on the ground level 1.. hmm.. im not so sure, maybe i shld go down and take a look./

I am a part-time student of SIM and I set up accessories stall at flea-market, bazzar.

The businesses are rather quiet but wanted to try out, hence I tried calling UNISIM once pertaining to rental, but they mentioned that these booths are reserved for entreprenuership courses students.

Is it true?

ya, and if u wish to rent their push cart, u have to submit them a proposal, but SIM nowadays only have bazaar out of The Atrium, it's hot, stuffy, heard all vendor very bad bisness, last time yes, but nowadays, SIM bisness also very bad liao:(

Yea, there was a SIM member bazzar last Saturday..selling polar cakes, accessories, food, etc.

Actually I was there for a class and as a patron, I am not really nt interested to spend $$ there. Selection is few and so cluttered. I dun noe for the rest though.
