Hi, MAAD stands for Market of Artists and Designers and it is located at the Red Dot Design Museum where only. They are trying to promote local art works or creations (ie self-made stuffs) so strictly no imported goods are allow! Rental is $80 for 2days.

Keen to try-out too.

same too, keen to try out. heard that not allowed to share booths.. so havent taken up booth yet until i find out the purchasing power of the crowd. last time i went, i saw lots of teenagers/students taking photos. didnt really see much transactions.. :(

It's a very fun bazaar. One of the best organised bazaars, imho.

Sold there twice at the year of 2008. Made quite some lovely friends and you get free music when they have bands performing there. But, the purchasing power isn't quite good as most of them are teenagers that are there to take photos or inspiration for their own stuffs.. No doubt there are some foreigners and also tourists but it all depends on whether your product is what they want.

I was selling handmade tees. They are plain tees and we did some sewing on them.
