hi anyone buy anything from taobao?
i have asked about shipment, supplier from taobao recommend Shun Feng but cost of EMS is RMB 200+ for 1kg. is it true and what is recommend if i want to buy something from tao bao and bring to singapore? Thanks

Bulky or heavy items, always go by shipping. Slower but cheaper. I mean, we stock regularly. Try to get your timing right, order about 1 week earlier so that you can go by shipping & that would save you lots of money.

Shipping fees go by weightage or by "per entry". Generally I prefer per entry. The absolute amount is higher but its like...you got so much space to put so much stuff!

My workplace uses Shun Feng only on small (size and/or quantity) items, but according to my purchaser, they're not exactly the cheapest.

I second the comment of scheduling your orders so you don't have to use EMS. Do most shippers offer the option of charging per entry? How is the cost normally calculated/fixed? This is the first time I've head of this *sua ku* And I thought the only way to go was by weight or per cubic meter!
