![]() Hi I need some advice on the following...
I am planning to imports some goods from Manila Philippines to Singapore. These are products that i will be selling here in Singapore. May i check what are the items that i need to know (forwarders, GST, etc). How does the forwarders work? the one in the Philippines will be handling the freight (all i need to do is pay for it of course)... what happens onced in reach our port? I think i definitely need to pay GST as the products will cost more than S$400. But should i have a GST Account (if i already have a business registered here). How to pay for it? If i get a forwarder to get it all clear from the port then have it deliver to me, can i use my home address as a delivery address (then i will transfer it to my rented warehouse)... Anyone have experience dealing with forwarders??? Care to share contact information, some basic pricing, other things to take note.... Appreciate it.... Cheers! |
