Yes,they will add additional domestic shipping costs. It will be better get it at shenzhen or maybe can get it guanzhou. If u need forwarder from guangzhou, PM me.

Hi,Im singaporean here and staying in singapore =),having experience for purchasing goods in china.. eg, goods from taobao and alibaba,i can help you with shipping and sourcing stocks for your need. I got my own China Banks Accounts that can transfered Money through Internet_Banking straight to suppliers usually. If anyone need sourcing and searching for forwarders or maybe cheaper payment can find me. As paypal and western union rate will be higher.

im currently using a agent from Shanghai to get my stuff from taobao. she is reliable and trustworthy for me.
i usually just give her the url of the product i want and she will do the purchasing and shippin for me.
and if we can all consolidate our orders in one shipping, i think we can save quite abit on the shipping cost.
anyone interested?

hi to all,

i am intending to buy in stock from taiwan, hk and china. Can anyone advise me how to do it? Is it better if i buy in from websites like taobao( is it a website selling items that are of wholesale price??) or should i go overseas personally to liase with supplier? If I buy stock overseas how do i send it back?DHL? or thru their local post office? If next time I wanna do a reorder from that supplier do i have to get someone residing there to help me do it so as to check the quantity and quality of my stock??

Would appreciate if someone can help me on this

Hi all,

I'm a newbie, looking to import some men's fashion accessories (cufflink sets, tie clips, belts, etc)

I'm also keen to learn more about how agents/forwarders work. Could someone share about their experiences with such agents for everyone's learning curves if possible? For example - would agents make a trip down to the factory & collect/check the goods themselves, consolidate with other shipments to SG, and then ship everything to SG?

The way agent work would differ from agent to agent. Some would offer to collect from the factory while others will call the factory to delivery to them. Most would require you to pay the factory & them upfront before they collect the goods.

Agents generally ask for 5%-20% of the value of the goods collected or a fixed price according to weight/work needed to be done on their part.

I do have a trusted agent and I believe that a couple of people have as well. I don't think anyone would share the agent though. Its the main factor that much sets us at an advantage over others. Besides that, much time, effort and trials have to be done to build up the relationship over the years.
