Info Required: Retail Space at Raffles Place MRT Shopping Arcade
 

Hello there, does anybody have any information on retail space at Raffles Place MRT Shopping Arcade? I'm referring to a smallish shop with washing facilities, like Mr Bean (next to a TCM shop).

How much would the rental for such an outlet be and who is the landlord that one should approach?

check with SMRT website. there should be a link for lease..

That's right. Check their website for available space. SMRT retail space is based on tender bid. Every Fri, SMRT will also advertise in the Straits Times ie invite tenders for available space. I think it's in the Classified Section. :coffee:

As it is a tender, when u submit the tender, u are expected to quote them the rental. I believe they indicated that it's doesn't mean that the highest bidder will get the space. To a certain extent, I think it may be true because they have a tenant mix control. But then again, who doesn't want higher rental. :juggle:

Thanks everyone for your response. I have managed to find the link. However, it seems that a shop in Raffles Xchange is out for me at this moment. I have to look for a cheaper alternative, like a hawker stall in the CBD.

can check NEA website for the hawker tender
for maxwell and amoy, if i rmbr correctly, it's about $2k (average highest bid)
maxwell more ex but got biz on weekend too cos near temples, eskine rd and nearer chinatown
amoy does well on weekdays with the working crowd (morn, lunch). now residential building under construction opposite too

I'm actually eyeing either Market Street Food Centre or Amoy Street Food Centre, the former being the priority. Due to the nature of my business, I need to do very selective customer targeting, and the white-collared execs in Raffles Place/Tanjong Pagar come to mind!

Hi,
Want to get space at Arcade for F&B,from 9-13k if i am not wrong,
and it's not under SMRT but individual landlord.This is a perfect place to open
food and drink stall,dessert stall or some thing like Old Chang kee...Umm i love to open one also but ...see the rental,unless you can find someone to share with:laff:
