![]() I do think that having a proper website helps to promote your items as well. If you have regular online customers, they will surely support you and come down whenever you are having events. It's easy to get a dot.com these days. I got one for $45 US a year.

![]() I have been doing bazaar for 2 years..... my experience tells me it's really all about your 4P and none of it should be compromise.
If your product doesn't sell in all the bazaar you go to.... something is wrong with your product.... probably no demand.... Always survey on market prices.... no suggesting you undercut your competitor, but at least price reasonable. If nobody is attracted to your stall then work hard on your display.... display of products and presentation is important. If you don't know how to i guess you just have to consult and learn humbly from other people. Website should always be just a subsidiary channel of sales in case there is no bazaar. Also it is like a online catalog for your products. To survive in both F&B and Fashion Retail, my advise is only UNIQUE AND QUALITY product sells. For other industry maybe the cheapest is the best. |

![]() my take on bazaars/ flea mkts is that i really dont think you can make much business out of it. I have done 1 before during Xmas, profit is ok but its really hard work. and if you feel that rental is cheap, think again. $40 per day = $1200 per mth. the xmas bazaar tat i did was $125 per day. can be equivalent to having a shop.

![]() you guys come across a company that sell dead sea facial or beauty products from israel? Their sales staff are mostly from israel. I was their neighbour stall during the last xmas event at suntec. Wow, must say they r really doing sales. They will approach people who walk past their stalls, do demo and close the sales. Of course there are rejection but their focus is doing sales.
I understand from a friend why the boss only want to employ sales staff from israel. Its just because they are willing to work hard for money. ![]() |

![]() I had been handmade accessories for 11 years. I had become my own boss about 1 year and a half and sometimes I will run some bazzars.. The reason to run bazzar is to let people know about me,touch and see my products then they will go to online and buy. I also must drive traffic to my online website to maintain my expenses.. Sometime have a store at bazzars is all depend on luck.
Last year I have a bazzar at Clarke Quay at the central fountain and there are 15 stores selling accessories. I feel the bazzars management should not only take rent from us, they also need to control the people that they are selling.. And they also have to think of a location that we can make money from bazzars.. For example,Scape Weekend Bazzars, I feel there is no buying power there.. How you feel?
