people will still spend, but as u said, they are more reserved and conscious of their spending. so as long as ur product meets their needs and budget, then why not? :)

Recently I watched on TV this Taiwanese show called "Guess Guess Guess"..I am surprised that many young people in Taiwan become their own boss (kind of like bugis and far east plaza)..they set up small shops selling fashion wear and accessories...

A pretty and trendy shop owner attracts customers to the store.Another impt thing is location..location..location..No point having a pretty mei mei at the store but there is no crowd.

The concept of Entrepreneurship in Singapore is very warped.

Just like education... we study to get a job. No one studies for learning.

In the case of entrepreneurship, most entrepreneur wannabes I know just wanna work for someone else, and not because they dream of creating something.

That's y we can never produce our next Zuckerberg.

Of course, this statement is made in general.

Well, Im a shopperholick.. I shops till my kids & husband ask me to stop. As entertainer & a singer in a club, I need to change my closet every month coz I have to look good all the time. I spent a lot of $$ just to be prettayyyy.. hhahahah

At 1st, I don't know abt "Online" shopping till I discovered something funny. My hubby never shops at the mall, but I realise how come he got a lot of stuff, parcels every week? so I ask him "baybie, did u get all your stuff for free?" He just smile at me. so, lemme cut short the story. He said "Ayang, don't waste ur time. just stay at home and shop" well, from there I get hooked and addicted to shop online. damn cheap.. seriously!

So, from there.. I open up my eyes.. why not i try selling stuff via online? Ok.. the bottom line is.. I just started:) I'll do it slowly coz I'm super busy with other job as a full time musician.

Never say never.

I am an entrepreneur for around 8-9 years and still going strong. I created my own CRM and SMS software product that sells both locally and overseas. It is not easy, I must say. It needs a lot of passion and perseverance.
