Default Which host is better?

Hi guys, just want to ask what kind of host is better? Well we all know that hosts gives us incentives when we intro someone to them, but it is just a one time incentive right? What about the hosts that give you recurring incentives as long as the newly introduced person keeps using the service? Of course it is at a slightly higher price though. Is it better?

Hi, the choice is yours. If you go for one where they pay you for referral, you have to take note of the higher monthly fees that you are paying up front. Things to take into consideration, can you refer enough people on your own to defray your cost and make some money out of it? What if the person you refer decides to stop using the service?

Cheers!

None is better than having your own server.

If you choose virtual hosting, you need to ensure you are not in the bad neighbourhood. Otherwise, it will hurt your organic search engine placement.

choose a reliable and well-known providers, because they will surely terminate those bad accounts.

if you plan to get a dedicated server, do not get from locally, because bandwidth is very expensive.

west-cost USA will be much better and the cost will be low. it will be around 70-100 for low end server.

If you plan to get a virtual hosting, I recommend both futurequest.net & atjeu.com

If you plan to get a dedicated server, I recommend 15minuteservers.net, netdepot.com, softlayer.com and rackspace.com

If you plan to colocate a server, I recommend ethr.net and webnx.com

And again, it will depend on how critical is this online shopping to your business.

In my case, I choose to go with rackspace.com for our retail stuff, because we are combining both online shopping & POS system to provide real time inventory tracking.

I have a server located in colocation at Creative building. If you are interested i can provide shopping cart using joomla. S$2 per month per 200mb plus one year $15 .com domain. I can setup for you simple template but products you have to upload yourself. I can guide alone if you face problem. Interested pm me. As for search engine of course domain must unique and i try my best to put up in google engine.

No difference. Colocation is a place to host your sever. Just that i do not have a proper office space or air-con facility to host the server, they will help to maintain 99.9 uptime network and restart my server. I just need to remote to my server. Is it you wish to create your own website from your company but not allowed to do so? I'm also have people host their website at my server as long is not heavy usage like video. A normal shopping cart should be fine. Which host is better depends on server memory ram, virus protection and the line speed. 1mbps is common use. Colocation provided shared bandwidth up to 100mbps. Less traffic will benefit more.
