Prestashop Issue
Anyone using prestashop shopping cart? Im using that, created an online store but I have some problems.
Basically Im selling apparels, and each product would have several sizes. I cant see to find any help for it therefore I ended up having 4 products for each design of apparel. Apparel A - Size M, Apparel A - Size L etc... Anyone knows how to correct it? |

Prestashop certainly can support the kind of product options set up that you are trying to do. Firstly, you will need to add Size as an Attribute Group under Catalog > Attributes and Groups. Click on the Add Attributes Group link. Give it a name of "Size". Then add all the sizes you want using Add Attributes link. Once all your attributes are added, you can go to your product and add the various sizes under the Combinations tab. Select the Group (Size) and Attribute (S,M or L) combination and click Add this Combination. Do this for each size. Note that once you start using Combinations for a product, inventory level is now tracked for each individual combination of product. This is good since I am sure you want to track your inventory by Size rather than lump them as one. Let us know how it goes. :) Cheers TJ |
Re: Prestashop Issue
I created a group called "Size"and had 4 attributes "M, L, XL, XXL". Next I created a product called Black Stripes Shirt, filled in all the info, images and went to combinations.
I managed to add Size: M but when I tried to add the others, they said "You can only add one type of group per combination." Any idea what I didnt wrongly? |
Re: Prestashop Issue
Hi
I believe you did not click on the Add This Combination button further down the page? You need to click on this button each time after you add a size. Hope this helps. |
Re: Prestashop Issue
