Create My Online Store

Hi,

I have a very simple website now but I intend to turn it into a online store.
Below are the requirement I need for an online store

1) Account -->previous order
-->My Account -->Change of account information
-->Change account password
-->My orders--> show customer previous only
2) Shopping cart
3) Check out for order
4) Register/Login
5) Search option (for the ease of customer to find our products)
6) Currencies

I do not want to engage a web desginer and I am thinking of doing it myself.
Is there anywhere I can learn how to do these?

Please advise, thanks

The features that you listed are definitely supported by all the open-source shopping cart script.

For something simple, i would recommend you to look at prestashop.

nope ... i use customized paid shopping cart.

May i ask, how much did you spend?
Did they do your website for you?

I did it myself. Frankly speaking, dont waste any money paying someone to create a shopping cart.

If you are not familiar with it, you can always get a hosting company which provide an ecommerce installation free. eg. installatron, fantastico, etc. Join the cart's community forum and read their manual.

Save your $ elsewhere or transfer to me

How long did you use to do that website if your?

It would depend on whether you have any experience with hosting, domain, etc.

Installation + initial configuration may take you around 2-4 hours.

If not, you may have to spend days to learn and read the manual.

I already have my website.
If I want to add those item which i mention earlier to it, is it possible?
or I have to recreate a website?

BTW do you teach other how to make a website
