I Just Started a Blogshop and in Need of Wise Advises.
 

Hi...

Totally a newbie but i have been learning as i go....
Just started out a so called blogshop as i really want to forcase my ideas and products to others.
I would really appreciate if any of you could offer me any wise advises on how to get traffic, improve on anything that is lacking or so on....

That for a new startup.
To generate a traffic , you may not have large budget yet but you can done a simple SEO.
Go more forum and blog to post some about you . Introduce yourself there if the forum and blog are allow, if no then just put a signature there. In other words you still able to get a backlink.

Submit your site to directories, write some Press Release to create more awareness in market. Submit your link to all search engine.
Go exchange link to the site which related to your product and service.

Once you get some traffic and income, then may think of go with google adwords and done some affilaite banner.

Agree much.. for new websites with little or no budget, simple SEO is the best way to go. Try do a little research on how you can optimize your website for search engines like Google. No cost needed if you can do it on your own. :)

Always make sure that your blog content must be attractive and worthy to read and update your blog regularly with fresh content. Add some pictures and videos that are most important and related to your products and allow comments form the readers which may helpful for the blog readers to visit your blog again.
