Hey Sponge Box, it is really a cool tools, thanks for sharing, I have subscribe to the service, it is really free for life and can have a personalised email name after your domain. But sometime a bit slow, I need to do it 3x before got it done successfully, may be i m not so good on internet that thing la. Thanks anyway... will give you 1 up.

you need to first understand your requirements then find hosts is easier.

ie, domain name .com or .com.sg (or .sg)
-> note when you get a com.sg, it comes with free .sg, .hk, .cn FREE by some providers for the 1st year. 2nd year onwards if want to keep then need to pay
ie, Win or Unix Server
ie, how much space you need
-> in general, most can provide way more than you need.
ie, SG or US server
-> in general, US hosting is way cheaper than SG server

are you doing your own site or getting a designer? if it's latter let the person do the recommendation on which firm he/she know it's okay to deal with.
