There are a few ways to charge your online customers. The most common method and is to do COD (cash on delivery). Less hassel. Another way will be through PayPal (if the customer wishes to use credit card). The third way will be doing a bank transfer. The above methods don't incur any service charges if transaction's done locally. I'm not too sure about foreign transactions tho. What I do know is PayPal charges currency conversion rates.

Paypal charges you around 3.5-5% (I couldnt remember), but paypal lacks fraud detection when you receive lots of international orders. Do not leave to much $ in your paypal account. If they notice high frauds in your account, they may close your account and will not release the $ to you.

I don't think ebay charges commission. Only subscription fee if it's not ebay Singapore. Hadn't you read the terms and conditions when you registered?

For me I only accepts S$ in Paypal so let that known to your customers so that no conversion rate is involved troublesome as starting I also accepts US$ then later know that can just accept S$ unless your customer don't agree so up to you.

Think the % is depends on the sales amount so can check on paypal website listed out also must add another S$0.50.

Oh high fraud that I'm not sure about it.... it's better to withdraw S$200 or above for local bank as no charges at all otherwise less than that S$1 charge by paypal for each transfer. Any queries can also call the paypal that has local helpdesk in Singapore.

Oic..tks that mean's payments methods are the same as ebay. Ya PayPal do charge currency conversion rates, can accept S$ from customers instead of other currencies unless customers don't agree.

Hi there,
I'm selling on eBay too,a bit slow:( ,lost patient now
you can try eBay sg 1st,you need to get 10 rates before can enter to eBay.com
beside it\'s costlier, because have to pay each time you list the item, but eBay sg you do not have to pay for this, unless you list more then 3 pictures-need to pay extra...Good luck
